Shawn Mullins (born March 8, 1968) is an Americanrocksinger-songwriter. He is best known for his 1998 single 'Lullaby'. The song was able to reach #1 on the Adult Top 40 and was nominated for a Grammy Award in the category of Best Male Pop Vocal Performance.[1][2] He also played in the band The Thorns before they broke up in 2004.

He was born in Atlanta, Georgia. Earlier in his life, Mullins served as an inactive Infantryofficer in the Individual Ready Reserve component of the U.S. Army Reserve. He reached the rank of 1st lieutenant before he fulfilled his service obligation and resigned honorably.[3]
